There is one invention that people usually take for granted; the flush toilet. Before the flush toilet there was sickness everywhere and the problem of waste disposal was the biggest issue we faced. We, people in developed countries, take that for granted. In developing countries such as Kenya they still face the problem that we have fixed over 100 years ago. One invention has helped to change that situation; The Peepoo. In some ways these two products are similar. Although in many ways they are different as well.

For one thing they are both used for generally the same purpose. Even though the Peepoo came almost 100 years later they both help to improve hygiene. When humans don’t have a sanitary place to dispose of their waste, epidemics of 50 or more diseases spread through entire countries, killing thousands of people. In the article “The Miracle Flush” they say, “Life before the flush toilet was extremely, horrifyingly, stomach-turningly, stinky.” When the flush toilet was invented it fixed this problem, until it rained. When it rained the sewers flooded and the streets were filled will human waste. They fixed this problem as well, in about a decade. In countries all over Africa and Asia they do not have the luxury of toilets, or any indoor plumbing for that matter. “The need for toilets is a basic one that will never cease to exist,” says Anders Wilhelmson. The Peepoo and the flush toilet are also similar because of the large response they got from the public. Based on that, you can plainly see that the public agrees with Wilhelmson. No matter how different they may be they are alike in the most important way.

But in truth, they are for the most part, very different. The simplest reason is the time period. There is also the fact that generally people in developed countries such as Britain or The U.S., do not tend to use the Peepoo. And likewise people in developing countries do not tend to have toilets. “Visitors to The Great Exhibition Of 1851 were treated to such sights as the world’s largest diamond…But it was a modest looking device that stole the show: the flush toilet,” stated the writer of “The Miracle Flush.” Of course they work in completely different ways. One is a basic toilet and the other is a bag with Urea crystals to turn the waste into fertilizer. “By one United Nations estimate 40% of the world – 2.6 billion people – does not have access to a toilet,” says the article “A Toilet for the Developing World,” and article from The New York Times. Some of these people do, though, have access to a Peepoo bag. Toilets are also, in most people’s opinion, a lot more convenient.

Although the toilet and Peepoo have differences they are also similar in many ways. They both save millions of lives and will continue to do so in the future. The Peepoo is a necessary product that we all hope in the future won’t be so necessary, while the toilet will always be necessary. Most people in developed countries overlook the importance of toilets, or some form of a toilet. Everyone should have the good fortune of a toilet, or at the least, a Peepoo bag. Hopefully in the future everyone can be fortunate enough to take for granted the simple, yet crucial, toilet.

Do you think about how much different our lives would be without the flush toilet or the Peepoo bag? Without them, our water would always be contaminated and we would get sick, or a bunch of us would die from diarrhea. People were amazed of what they could do with a toilet and a Peepoo bag, too. They are similar and different in a lot of ways.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo bag are similar in a lot of ways. When the flush toilet first came out, every one bought it (Thomas Crapper is a famous person who made toilets more affordable). But their waste went into the water system, and then it got contaminated. Tens of thousands of people died. Later, the problem was solved by making a new flush toilet and then they created the sewer, so the waste didn’t contaminate the water. Before the Peepoo bag, people without toilets didn’t have a place to go to the bathroom, so they went in random places. People started dying again, but mostly from diarrhea. Anders Wilhelmson created the Peepoo bag so people had a place to go to the bathroom. Everyone was amazed and relieved when the toilet and the Peepoo first came out. People thought it was so cool to just flush away waste when the flush toilet was invented. When the Peepoo was introduced, everyone felt good that they had a place to go to the bathroom.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo bag are different in a lot of ways. The flush toilet was introduced in London, 1851. The Peepoo bag was introduced in Kenya, not that long ago. How the flush toilet works is that you go to the bathroom, and then you push a lever and waste gets flushed away. How the Peepoo works is that you go to the bathroom, and then you sell the bag back to the manufacturer. How people learned about the flush toilet is that it was in a big showcase in London, in the 1800’s. This was the “main attraction” of the showcase. How people learned about the Peepoo bag is that some women sold the bags in their towns. They first started selling the bags in Kenya. Now they are being bought by everyone who doesn’t have a toilet, worldwide.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo bag are similar and different in a lot of ways. We could get sick or die without them and our lives would be very different. These inventions have saved us.

Human waste disposal used to and still is a big problem in our history. Maybe one of the biggest problems humans have had to face. The toilet was and still is arguably the best way to get rid of human waste. There is a new invention that came out recently. It is called the pee poo. It is also a way to get rid of human waste. Both inventions are similar and both inventions are different.

One way that the toilet and pee poo are similar is that they reduce the risk of some diseases. In Europe before the toilet was invented thousands of people died from different diseases. But with the arrival of the toilet those numbers dropped a lot. In Africa before the pee poo was invented thousands of people died by drinking non safe water. The water wasn’t safe because all of the human waste was going in it. Another way that the pee poo and the toilet are similar is that they both keep the waste away from drinking water supplies. The toilet takes the waste to a sewer system instead of just dumping it into the street.

The toilet and the pee poo are different too. The pee poo is portable but the toilet is not. So the pee poo could come in handy if you’re not near a toilet. So you can use the pee poo almost anywhere. The toilet on the other hand isn’t portable. It stays in one spot. You can only use the toilet when theirs a bathroom. Another way that their different is what they do after you do your business. The toilet puts the waste into pipes where it is eventually put into a sewer system. The pee poo is biodegradable. You can send it back to the company which buys it back for a third of the price. Then the company could use it for fertilizing crops.

The toilet and pee poo are similar and different. Their similar because they reduce the risk of many diseases. Their also similar cause they keep the waste away from water supplies. The pee poo and the toilet are also different from each other. The pee poo is portable and the toilet isn’t. Also their different because they do different things after they collect the waste. The pee poo and the toilet are amazing inventions and they save millions of lives without people noticing it.

Humans have had trouble over the years of figuring out how to dispose of waste. Two inventions, the flush toilet and the peepoo have helped us with disposing our waste. In the streets of England, many people were dying from human waste. The flush toilet has solved that problem. Every year 1.5 million kids die from diarrhea, the peepoo has helped that problem too. These two inventions helped us properly dispose our waste and keep people from getting sick.
The invention of the flush toilet was a breakthrough for early England. Before the flush toilet, many people were dying from various diseases. The peepoo is a plastic bag that is biodegradable. When someone is finished using it, it can be buried or sold back to the company for one third of the price they bought it for and then it is turned into fertilizer. 1.5 million Children die every year from diarrhea. These two inventions are very similar because, they both help people not get sick. They are also similar because they both get rid of human waste in a clean way.
These two inventions are also different. For instance, the peepoo not only gets rid of the feces, it also turns it into fertilizer. The plastic bag is also biodegradable. The flush toilet only takes the waste away from wells and the streets. The peepoo can be sold back to the company and the buyers get one third of the money they paid back. Although they are both similar inventions and serve the same purpose, they can still work in many different ways.
The inventions of the peepoo and the flush toilet are very similar in what they do, but different in how they work. They both serve the same purpose that human beings have been trying to figure out for a while. How to get rid of our feces. That is a problem that has been around for many years.

The Flush Toilet and the Peepoo

Toilets are often taken for granted, but believe it or not they have saved millions of lives. Sadly not everyone has access to these life heroes. What happens to this great number of people? They often die of feces polluted water. Recently these people have attained access to a new type of toilet; the Peepoo bag. The comparison between the flush toilet and the Peepoo? Well…
These two inventions don’t have very much in common. Here are three similarities between them. One, they have both saved millions of lives by helping prevent contact with human feces, which can give a person up to 50 deadly diseases. The next similarity relates to the first; the proper disposal of human waste. The two toilets both help to properly dispose of human waste so it will not flow into a water source. Reason three-the prevention of polluted drinking water. When waste is left lying around it will end up in a valuable source of water. Those are the similarities, here come the differences.
There are a lot more differences. For instance, the way the republic responded to it. People were amazed at the flush toilet but the reaction to the Peepoo was a little more hesitant. Then there is how everybody learned about these inventions. For the Peepoo’s introductory road shows, block parties, and radio ads were used but the flush toilet was at an exhibit. Lastly, the way they look. One is a bag (the Peepoo) and one is a chair-type thing. (the flush toilet.)
So in conclusion, these two toilets are very similar and yet very different in many ways; but their mission is the same: keeping people alive and drinking (clean) water.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are similar and different in many ways. They were invented by different people. Different people have different opinions. The toilet was invented by a man named Thomas Crapper. The Peepoo was invented by a man named Anders Wilhelmson. Thomas Crapper is British, while Anders Wilhelmson is Swedish.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are different things, but they have a couple similarities. The flush toilet gets rid of poop, and the Peepoo gets rid of poop. The flush toilet got rid of diseases called cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. The Peepoo also got rid of those diseases. Both of them were good sellers; “Currently, some 6,000 bags are produced every day and distributed in slums in Nairobi, Kenya.” and “After the exhibition, some 200,000 people installed flush toilets in their homes.” They both saved millions of lives.

Although, they do have some differences to. The flush toilet is not portable while the Peepoo is. The Peepoo is a bag, in which the flush toilet is ceramic. The Flush toilet flushes the unwanted waste to the sewers, the Peepoo keeps it there and transforms it to fertilizer. The flush toilet has been around since the 19th century. The Peepoo has not been along that long. “In 1851 … But it was the modest looking device that stole the show; the flush toilet.” and “Currently, some 6,000 bags are produced every day and distributed in slums in Nairobi, Kenya.”

The flush toilet and the Peepoo have all kinds of differences and similarities, but one thing is for sure, they both help the environment. These two men had different meanings in creating these things, but both of them are good for the environment. Thomas was a plumber who just made it happen. Anders is an architect and professor, he just wanted to help those in Kenya that don’t have a toilet. But both of them will go down in history.

Imagine living in a place where you weren’t safe because of somebody else’s waste. That would never happen to us, because of the flush toilet. It was invented hundreds of years ago in Europe. Without the inventors, we could be terribly sick, and could be throwing our waste out the window into the street. But, some people in the world don’t have the flush toilet. They now have the Peepoo. The Peepoo is a plastic bag, but it is special, because it has crystals that transform the waste into fertilizer that can be used for crops. These inventions are similar, but also different.
The flush toilet and the Peepoo are similar because of their use. They both are used for human waste. People would get really sick from diseases, like cholera. The waste would somehow get into the water, and an ordinary glass of water can poison you, maybe even to death. Before the flush toilet and the Peepoo, this was a problem. People in Europe would dump their waste into the street, and it could land on someone! They had pits where they could dump the waste, but those flooded when it rained. Gross, huh. This doesn’t mean that the Peepoo and the flush toilet are the same. There are lots of differences.
People in Africa and Asia mostly use the Peepoo. The flush toilet is used all around the world. The flush toilet was introduced in Europe. The Peepoo was introduced in Asia and Africa. People learned about the Peepoo by going to block parties, road shows and advertisements on the radio, while people learned about the flush toilet at a showcase.
The Peepoo and the flush toilet are similar, but not the same at all. From how it works to how it improves a person’s health, the two toilets are very helpful. Now, a glass of water is sure to be safe to drink.

Many inventions have helped the human civilization, and many of those inventions are ones that you might not think of - such as the flush toilet. It is used a lot around the world, but there is yet another invention with the same purpose as the flush toilet, called the PeePoo. Both of these inventions help the human race. They are similar and different to each other in many ways but they are necessary things to have - without them, our world would be filled with waste - human waste, that is.

The inventions are mostly different, except for a few things. They both improve public health because the human waste goes away from wherever the local water supply is. This way, people won’t drink polluted water and will then not get diseases. They are also both made to serve one purpose - to stop the spread of human waste-influenced diseases by making water healthy to drink by avoiding water, and cleaning up human waste in an efficient way. That is how the PeePoo and the toilet are similar.

These inventions have many differences, though. The toilet was introduced in London in 1851, while the PeePoo was introduced recently in Kenya. They both work very differently - with the toilet, people use the bathroom and flush; with the PeePoo, people do their business, then send the waste back to the manufacturer, and small crystals in the bag turn the waste into fertilizer. People also learned about these inventions different ways - people learned about the flush toilet because it was advertised in Europe and it was shown at “The Great Exhibition Of 1851,” in London, and people learned about the PeePoo because a Swedish professor started making the product and then had them distributed in Kenya. Also, the public responded to these inventions in different ways; people used to die from diseases because there was nowhere to distribute the waste, but after the flush toilet came along, people didn’t get as many diseases as they used to, so people were pretty happy and interested when the flush toilet was invented, whereas people were a bit hesitant to use the PeePoo. These inventions have many reasons that they are different, but both inventions help people.

So you see, the flush toilet and the PeePoo are not bad things - they are important things. They both help people in different and similar ways. And without them, our world would be incredibly stinky - nobody wants that, of course!

Two Toilets Essay

Deaths have occurred both historically and recently all over the world. The cause: lack of an easy yet safe way to dispose of human waste. In this essay, I will compare two completely different toilets that have made a huge impact in the lives of people all over the world. One toilet is flushed and the other is a bag. Despite their differences, they both serve as a safer way than just dumping it like in the past. The two toilets are the peepoo and the flushing toilet.

In places like Kenya, where they don’t have toilets and can’t afford them, the peepoo is what they use. The peepoo is a bag that they do their business in. Then, they seal it with a tight knot and either sell it back to the company or bury it. The reason for it is that just doing your business anywhere gets it into the water source. Of course, people have to drink something, but all of the waste contaminates the water and causes lots of diarrhea. In fact, 1.5 million kids die every year because of the contaminated water that gave them fatal diarrhea. The peepoo was a safer alternative, but the need to have a flushing toilet will never not exist.

In London, 1851, millions of Europeans rushed to London to lay their eyes on the latest invention in toilet technology, the one, the only, FLUSHED TOILET!!! This may not seem like a big deal to us now, but in their past, they have had many difficulties with people dying because of unsanitary human waste disposal. Before the flushed toilet, people’s waste would go to ditches in the ground that overflowed when it rained. That was a big problem because the waste spread many diseases. Lots of people died because of the diseases but it took a while for people to realize the cause of it. When the toilet came, about 200,000 people bought and installed toilets into their homes. At first, all that did was make the problem even worse. All of the flushed water from the toilets was too much for it and soon, the ditches overflowed and flooded the streets, once again spreading diseases. Soon, people realized that in order to solve the problem, they needed sewer systems to take away the waste. Once that was done, toilets improved the health of its users.

Both of the toilets have proved themselves useful for a variety of places and people. Both have saved the lives of people all over the world. They both served their purpose to stop diseases caused by waste. Sure, everybody probably prefers to use a flushing toilet rather than a peepoo, but sometimes you have to use what you have and forget about the other device.

Have you ever heard of a thing called the Peepoo? It’s a bag made of Urea crystals. Poor countries that can’t afford toilets sell them. You release your waste into the bag and then either bury it or sell it back to the company. The crystals break down your waste and turn it into fertilizer. You will hear about how the toilet and the peepoo similarities, and how they are different.

These two waste disposers are similar because they both dispose of waste in a way that will not contaminate water (this is a good thing because contaminated water can cause diseases). They are also similar because they both are used for health purposes. If there was no toilet and no peepoo people would die from diseases caused by the pathogens in contaminated water and suffer from diarrhea. No one wants this to happen to anyone.

So now you’ll hear the opposite side: how they are different. First the toilet sweeps your waste to the sewer while a peepoo turns your waste into fertilizer and can also be sold back to the manufacturer for a third of the original price. Second, the peepoo has to be buried or sold to get it away from you. The toilet yanks your waste away from you with the pull of a lever.

In conclusion you have heard of the similarities, and differences. These two types of toilets have saved lives by disposing of human waste in a way that does not contaminate the water supply. Just a bag has saved thousands of lives.

161 years ago Was a showcase in England. And the neatest thing appeared… the flush toilet. Today the toilet is a household item that everyone has… but not in Africa. Anders Wilhelmson, visited Asia and Africa and knew something needed to happen. And he created the Peepoo. The Peepoo is a way to distribute your waste. These things are similar and different, but they both changed the world.
The flush toilet was introduced at a road show in England in 1851, getting big views and a massive audience. Where as the Peepoo was introduced in Asia and Africa recently. People learned about the flush toilet from that expedition, and everyone wanted it. 200,000 people installed a flush toilet in their homes. The creator of the Peepoo went to slums in Africa and distributed Peepoo’s out himself. And today people are selling them on the streets, but they’re not known that much. People respect the Peepoo and are grateful for it, only its spreading word and mouth and not as fast as the flush toilet did. Another way the two are different is, how it works. With a toilet you “go” and flush and pipes leads to sewers where the waste is disposed. For the Peepoo you buy a bag, “go” and bury it so it bio-degrades or the company buys it back for a third of the price. The waste can be turned into fertilizer, and it’s natural too!

Shortly before the flush toilet was invented, 50,000 people died from a cholera epidemic. Before the Peepoo was invented 1.5 million people were dying from diarrhea. Those are two very different numbers, but two very important meanings. It shows their change in the environment. They both improved public health (after some changing) by making disease’s spread less. And when both first came out they were very popular. Even if they were 161 years apart.

161 years apart, yet they were both great inventions. They made the world a better place for the environment but in different ways. They have so many differences but they both changed the world.

The peepoo and the flush toilets are two great inventions. There are some things that are similar and there is some things that are different about them. Thomas Crapper made the flush toilet for everyone and Anders Wilhemson created the Peepoo for children that can't afford a real toilet.

There isnt much in common between the two except that they are made for the same thing, going to the bathroom. The other thing that makes them similar between them is that they both keep the world cleaner because there isnt poop and pee all over the place.

There is many things different from them some of them are how it works, How people learned about it, the size, what it looks like and more. The flush toilet works by pulling the little lever and it flushes the waste, and the Peepoo works by tieing it up at the top and burying it and there is little crystals in it that turns the waste into fertilizer. The flush toilet is muuch bigger than the Peepoo, the flush toilet is very very heavy but the Peepoo is a little bag that you can fit into your pocket. They also look really different, the flush toilet looks like a toilet everyone knows what a toiley looks like but the Peepoo looks like a littke white and green bag that says Peepoo on it.

There are many things different between the Peepoo and the flush toilet, but they both have their pluses and minuses. But both of the inventions are very helpful and saved a lot of people by stopping diseases.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet are two great inventions. They have similarities and differences even though they serve the same function, which is to dispose of human waste.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet are similar for a few reasons. They are similar because they are both toilets and they both stop diseases from going around. They stop diseases from going around because they prevent poop from getting into the water supply which causes a lot of diseases. In England, just before the toilet was introduced, there was a cholera outbreak and thousands of people died. Today, approximately one and a half million children die of diarrhea every year. The Peepoo and the flush toilet are also the same because you poop in them.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet are also different. They were learned about in different ways. The flush toilet was introduced at “The Great Exhibition of 1851” in London. The Peepoo was introduced to people in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. The public also responded to them differently. The flush toilet was amazing to people but the people who use the Peepoo were a bit hesitant to use it at first. They were also introduced at different times. The Peepoo was invented not too long ago and the flush toilet was introduced in 1851.

So, in conclusion, there are a lot of differences and similarities to the Peepoo and the flush toilet but they are both great inventions that prevent disease from spreading and make life easier for everyone who uses them.

There is waste that comes from humans called poop and pee, But were does the poop and pee go? There is the flushing toilet and the” pee poo”.

The pee poo works just as well as the toilet and guess what? If you send back your gift and the bag you can get 1/3 of what you paid for the pee poo bag back! The pee poo bag works like this you dispose you pee or poo into the bag then tie the bag up. Next you can bury the bag or you can ship the bag back for 1/3 of your money back. Why would the company want your pee or poo? Well pee and poo is used for fertile soil and poo works really well.

The flushing toilet stopped thousands of people of getting sick with 50 different ways. But in 1851 the flushing toilet was made. More than 200,000 people installed the flushing toilet. After all the water flooded the street with poo and pee. In 1854 tens of thousands of people starting dying from poop and pee. It took more than a decade before people installed sewage systems.

The pee poo bag and the flushing toilet both made poop and pee go away. But the flushing toilet had some problems and the pee poo bag didn’t. the pee poo bag you could get 1?3 of your money back and it helped fertile soil. If I were a farmer I would go with the pee poo bag but I am not . The flushing toilet is used today so it had to work better than the pee poo bag because none uses it today that I know or herd of till reading this article. Over all I think that the flushing toilet had its problems and the pee poo bag didn’t I think the flushing toilet is better.

After reading this article what would you use the pee poo bag or the flushing toilet that Americans use today?

Are you grateful for the toilet in your house? I thought so. While you may be grateful some people don’t even have the toilet. These people have diseases going around on the streets because they don’t have toilets. The invention Peepoo is trying to stop this in parts of the world where people don’t have toilets. Whichever people use, they both have different thoughts. The Peepoo and the toilet have ways they are the same and different in helping the worlds health.

The Peepoo and toilet both improve public health. The Peepoo takes human waste of the streets reducing diseases going around. It also keeps the human waste out of the water reducing death by diarrhea. Kids all over countries die from diarrhea every year because their water isn’t clean. The toilet also keeps human waste from going into the water. Just like other people we need fresh water too. Putting the waste somewhere else is another thing the toilet does to reduce people in the public getting sick.

The reasons the public loves these inventions are different though. People who use the Peepoo love it because they can return the bag for money. The bag also gives them fertilizer. The Peepoo contains crystals that mix with the waste creating a great fertilizer. Most people who use the Peepoo love this because most of them are involved with agriculture and this will give them a bonus. The toilet makes their users happy because the people don’t have to be grossed out by their waste and smell. They find this stuff disgusting and with the toilet just flushing it down they don’t need to be grossed out. Users of the toilet love their beloved invention because they don’t have to use effort after they go. They can just flush the toilet when their done and leave.

Toilet and Peepoo each have ways they are similar and different. They both help public health but are loved in different ways. Either way you think about it people are grateful for both. Both inventions have made a difference in this world different ways and similar ways.

The Peepoo and the modern day flush toilet are very similar and very different in many ways.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet are similar because they were created for the same reason, and solve that problem. They are different because the Peepoo is one use bag, while the toilet is a reusable bowl.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet are very similar because they both created for the same reason; to dispose of human waste. Although the flush toilet failed at first, both of the great inventions gave achieved their extremely important goal.

The Peepoo and flush toilet are different because The Peepoo is a one time use bag and the flush toilet is a multi-use bowl. Also, the with the Peepoo, once it is used you have to either bury it or ship it back.

Anders Wilhelmson’s Peepoo and Thomas Crapper’s flush toilet are very similar and different in many ways.

Did you know using a proper toilet can affect public health? Yes its true. Some of the worlds greatest inventions were made to stop the cause of it. Weather it’s the flush toilet or the “pee poo” they both are used for the same reason regarding how different they are.

They are pretty different. For example, the “flush toilet” tales seconds to eliminate waste, when the “pee poo” takes a couple of weeks. Also they were both invented in completely different time pirods.

There are ways they are similar. Like they both get rid of waste. That is very important. Also they can both help save lives, because there isn’t human waste all around public places.

They both have many things alike and not alike. Although many people would prefer the flush toilet, many more don’t have one. And that is wat the pee poo was invented for.

The needs of developing countries today were not included in an 1850’s life-saving invention. But the objective was practically the same; create a way that could make sure human waste isn’t contaminating drinking water.
However, one difference is that for developing countries, Anders made a portable and single use, way to use the bathroom. Both the Peepoo and the toilet improved the health of the public by making sure waste is disposed of properly. Anders response from the public in accord to his invention had to be encouraged through teachings of hygiene. Unlike Anders, the public showed that they supported the toilet tremendously.

The Peepoo was created for developing countries in which the citizens of those countries (hence the label developing) don’t have money. While, through the looking glass, toilets were made for a developed country so, it wasn’t transportable and it wasn’t used only once, like the Peepoo. The public reacted to the toilet in a heartening fashion, while the single-use Peepoo took some effort to encourage the public of its use. Standing at an exhibition in 1851, many stood in line for hours just to try the invention of the magnificent toilet. Less elaboration was provided as a method to sell the Peepoo product; it was advertised on the radio and at block parties.

Elaboration must have been accounted for in the making of the toilet and the Peepoo in which both life-saving concoctions delivered untarnished water to people. Cholera, causing 500,000 to die in London, also caused a blundering amount of people to cease in Kenya. Thomas’s and Ander’s inspiration/motive must have been set on the same thing because cholera took people in 1851 and modern times too. Both inventions made the streets and ground clear then setting a chain reaction creating clean water.

Clean water will quench many Kenyan people’s thirst as it did in England, 1851, a life raft in a sea of cholera. Many Kenyan’s had to be overly-coaxed and taught thoroughly precisely why hygiene was a case worth exasperating before the Peepoo started to work. The toilet, however, was immediately popular and captured the belief of 50,000 people. Peepoos are transportable yet lacking more than one use before it had to be disposed of. Toilets although limited to one area, were able to be used over and over again.

We are use to the normal flush toilet, the loo,and the occasional "potty" but not the peepoo.
The peepoo was created by,Swedish architect,Anders Wilhemson. He found the idea while taking his students for a study trip to Asia and Africa, he realized that urban slum populations were in more need of toilets than housing! That was the first thing that struck him the idea of the peepoo. Now thousands of peepoo's are distributed to Kenya everyday. The peepoo has changed the lives of the slum population drastically.
The toilet, we don't think of it as a big thing but think of where we would be without. Having trouble? That's because you probably have never even imagined it or realized how lucky we are to have it. The toilet first was invented in 1851 in London, people all gathered and gazed to see such a amazing new fad.
The peepoo and the toilet have helped and affected peoples lives so much. For instance;the peepooo and the toilet have both stopped the spread of cholera in the places they are used. And 1.5 million children die from diarrhea every year. So think, where would we be without them?

In the 1800s England was a horrible place, because of human waste disposal. People back then would drop human waste where ever they pleased. Then a genius invention came along called the flush toilet. But at first it only made things worse…first. So many people bought the flush toilet that the ditches where all the human waste went was filled and then when it rained it would overload and it would flood the city so disease hit England again. Finally England tackled waste disposal and disease was stopped and the toilet is now one of the biggest things we use on a regular day, wrong 40% of the world (2,000,000,000 people) cannot accesses a toilet. The people of the developing world need toilets more than houses so a man named Anders Wilhemson made an invention called the PEEPOO. A plastic bag that lets you dispose of human waste and then you sell it back and they give you fertilizer.
In some ways they are the same such as, they both have a solution to disposal of human waste. They also stop diseases. The problem of human waste is now almost gone from the world and the Pee Poo is helping push even further. People of all ages can use the toilet and the pee poo. The similarities of the two products are great and will make this world a better place.
The differences are that the Pee Poo is a plastic bag and the toilet is like a chair. The pee poo can be turned into fertilizer the toilet just flushes it to the sewer system. You can sell a used Pee poo you can’t normally sell a used toilet clogged with human waste. Also to make an almost instant result they use crystals in the pee poo to make it become a fertilizer.
As you can see in the end these are great things to tackle an everlasting problem. Evan though they have their differences they both help to make the same goal possible. With the developing world starting to get rid of disease they will be able to develop more quickly. The flush toilet has made its place in history already and will one day have improvement. These two products still make the world a better place.

how is the pee poo and the flushing toilet different and similar to each-other. The pee poo is a bag of plastic. the flushing toilet is a regular toilet that you have in your house today.
The pee-poo is different then the flushing toilet. its different because the pee-poo is a Eco friendly plastic bag and the flushing toilet is a heavy cold metal flushing toilet. there is a BIG differences between the two of them. the way you use the pee poo is that you have to but under your hinder and then you do your business. the way you use the flushing toilet is that you have to
install it in your bathroom and then you do your business the stuff goes to the sewer but the pee poo doesn't.
the pee poo and the flushing toilet are similar. they are similar because they are used to do to the bathroom. even though they are different sizes they are still used for the bathroom.

In conclusion this is what the difference and the similar between the pee poo and the flushing toilet

The toilet and the pee poo are both successful devises used to dispose human waste. human waste is a big problem to humans because it can cause a number of diseases such as, cholera, dysentery and typhoid all of which have killed millions of people. Each of these inventions help solve this problem.
These inventions are both similar because they both help solve the huge problem of removing human waste. The toilet is the modern way of removing waste. it is built of large pipes underground which leads to a plant. the pee poo is made for poorer people in kenya and other slums of the world. it is made of a special plastic bag with special crystals that transform waste into useful fertilizer which is used for crops.
these inventions are both different because the toilet costs a lot of money to hook up all the pipes but the pee poo cost nearly nothing because its just a plastic bag with special chems in it. also i think of the toilet as a modern tool used in only rich countries and pee poos as ways to solve the waste problem in poorer countries.
Even though both inventions are a bit different they both help solve the human waste problem in huge ways no matter what way people choose to dispose waste is fine as long as it doesn't cause death to millions of people.

The flush toilet and the peepoo are very important. They stopped human waste from contaminating water supplies. Many people would have died if they were not invented. People were careless and had no clue about sanitation. They dumped their waste where ever they could. They dumped that nasty stuff in big holes, and ever the street. Many people got sick and died from diseases caused by the nasty stuff. They did not do anything about it and then came the flush toilet. It brought the nasty stuff away. The peepoo turned the nasty stuff into fertilizer for crops. The peepoo company will buy back the nasty stuff in the peepoo bag for 1/3 of the price.
They are similar because they rid us of the nasty stuff. That stuff causes diseases and people go dead from the diseases. They got rid of waste, so not nearly as many people died. They were both great inventions, and they made people happy. (And clean.)
They are different because they work not the same. The flush toilet takes away the nasty stuff, and the peepoo turns it into fertilizer. The peepoo is more useful than the flush toilet. The peepoo is also portable. Our port-a- potties are not- so- portable. The peepoo has no technology.
The peepoo and the flush toilet are similar to each other, but also different in many ways. The peepoo is portable, but the flush toilet is sadly bolted to the ground. 

Peepoo or the Flush Toilet

Most people in this country think “oh toilets, they are pointless.” To some people they might be, but to other people that don’t have one they are something that they always wanted. People that don’t have a toilet have to do their business out on the street, getting not only themselves but other people around them very sick. “In the early 1850’s people would dump their waste out on the streets and around 50,000 people died of around 50 diseases in England”. In Africa and Asia people had the same problem but not in the 1800’s: this was happening recently. Since these people couldn’t afford houses Anders Wilhelmson invented the Peepoo, a plastic bag that’s saving over 6,000 people a year.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are similar because they’re both saving peoples’ lives and are having people be more clean when they do their business. Before the Peepoo and the flush toilet people would do their business anywhere, getting people really sick or causing people to die. “Before the Peepoo children would die of diarrhea”. “Before the flush toilet people would die from 50 diseases (only three mentioned: cholera, dysentery and typhoid)”. Before the flush toilet people had to dump their waste in the streets making it smelly and full of feces (human poop). Both the Peepoo and the flush toilets are saving so many peoples’ lives.

Unlike the Peepoo, the flush toilet didn’t work right when it was installed; many more people died and got very sick. This is the way the Peepoo and the flush toilet are different. The Peepoo worked right then and the flush toilet at the beginning still killed a lot of people. “It took four years (1854) for the city leaders to build sewers and huge pipes that took the waste water and the drinking water supplies apart from each other”. After this the flush toilet invention was a hit again and instead of killing people it was saving thousands of people just like the Peepoo.

Even though the toilet might seem like a helpless invention it saved thousands of people and, like the Peepoo might just look like a helpless plastic bad, it’s saving thousands of kids, too. Inventions sometimes are useless and sometimes very helpful. The Peepoo and the flush toilet are two of those inventions that are very helpful and saving thousands of people a year.

The flush toilet and the peepoo are both inventions that have changed our and others life. You may not think of them as great inventions, but when you really look at what they have done, you understand how important they are. The flush toilet was a must in 1851, London. Without it decease and stink would fill the air. Without the peepoo in africa and asia, diarrhea would kill 1.5 million people every year. The peepoo and the flush toilet have both helped solve one of the toughest problems ever, human waste disposal.
The flush toilet and the peepoo are very different things but they both helped solve the same problem. The peepoo is a cheap plastic bag that can be used only once. The peepoo is used then buried or sold back for 1/3 of the original price. Then the human waste is used for fertilizer. On the other hand the flush toilet is more expensive because unlike the peepoo in can be used multiple times. After a person uses the flush toilet, the waste is taken through the septic pipes then it goes into a sewer. I think that the flush toilet is easier to use, but I have never used a peepoo. After the peepoo was invented the public were very worried and hesitant to use it. Instead of being hesitant and worried after the flush toilet was invented everybody was very excited and amazed at what this new invention could do.
Even though these two inventions are very different they are also very alike. For instance, they were both made for the same basic idea, to prevent waste problems. If it weren’t for waste problems in africa, asia and 1851, london the the flush toilet and the peepoo would probably not have been invented. They also both prevent deadly diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid and many others.

There were a lot of great inventions in the world. I want to talk about a specific one, the toilet. I know what your thinking. How is the toilet so great? Well, let me give you a choice, would you rather have a toilet or a peepoo. A peepoo is a biodegradable bag that children poop in. Yeah the toilet doesn't seem so bad now does it?

Did you know that the toilet and the peepoo have things in common? Both the toilet and the peepoo are saving people. What I mean by that is that in 19th century London, people used to dump their waist (poop) out on the street, in rivers and ditches filled with sewage "when over filled when it rained!" But then came the toilet. For the peepoo it helped save the lives in Nairobi, Kenya. The United Nations said, "40% of the worlds population -2.6 billion people do not have access to a toilet. Open defecation leads to contaminated water which causes diarrhea." About 1.5 million children die from diarrhea each year. But thanks to the peepoo it is a biodegradable toilet. So after you are done with it you can burry it or send it back to the manufacture. Now, 6,000 peepoo bags are produced every day, and more and more people are getting them and using them! So, the toilet and the peepoo both saved lives! But there still are some things that are different about the toilet and the peepoo.

One thing that is different about the toilet and the peepoo is that most people prefer the toilet. More people prefer the toilet because it is a lot easier then the peepoo. With the toilet when you are done you can just flush away the waist. With he peepoo you have to probably stand up and do your business until you are done, and your legs would hurt. With the toilet you can sit down maybe even read a magazine. With the peepoo you cant really reed a magazine. If you have a stomach ache wouldn’t you want to sit down on a toilet not crouch down on a peepoo, because I would want to sit on a toilet? Only 6,000 peepoo’s are being used but millions of toilets are being made.

In conclusion, the peepoo and the toilet are both similar and different in many ways. So just remember, treat your toilet with respect and don’t do anything to it. Just be happy you don’t have a peepoo and think of all those people who have to use peepoo’s instead of toilet’s you should be great full you have a toilet.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are two great inventions. Both have some things alike and some differences. Some similarities are that the water is now cleaner in the places of each thing being used and it has helped get rid of many diseases. The differences are that they are both used in different ways and at first many people understood the importance of the flush toilet but not a lot of people really understand or know about the Peepoo. These are the similarities and differences of the flush toilet and Peepoo.

There are a few things that the flush toilet and the Peepoo have in common. The first one is that they have both saved millions of lives because they would’ve died of dirty water or from many diseases including cholera. Also, they were both invented in places where the countries couldn’t find a way to get rid of the waste but these ideas have both solved the problems. This is how the flush toilet and the Peepoo are similar.

The flush toilet is different from the Peepoo because they’re both used in different ways. Another way is the Peepoo is a onetime thing and it’s just a bag but on the other hand the flush toilet is used by someone at least once a day and it’s something you sit on then flush away. Also, at first many people understood the importance of the flush toilet and wanted it but not a lot of people really understand or know about the Peepoo. Another difference is Peepoo is portable even know you can only use it once and the toilet is placed somewhere and than almost never moved. One last thing is that the flush toilet was a lot more announced on its debut than the Peepoo has ever been at all. About 200,000 people came to see the grand opening of the flush toilet and not many people have heard of the Peepoo. These are the differences of the flush toilet and the Peepoo.

I concluded that the flush toilet and the Peepoo are both life saving inventions but there are both similarities and differences between the two. There are definitely more differences than similarities but one major similarity is they’re both lifesavers.

Two Toilets Essay
By Parrot

Imagine a world without a toilet. It would be, let's say, stinky. But then, an amazing invention called the “toilet” is brought to a big exhibit. Wouldn't you be overjoyed? That was in 1851, but to this day, some people still don't have a toilet. Until the Peepoo was made, people didn't even have a place to “let it all out”. With the Peepoo, you “do your business” in the bag, and Urea crystals turn it into good fertilizer. You can bury the bag, or sell it for a third of the original price. Two articles were written about these amazing inventions. Soon, I came to find that the toilet and the Peepoo were totally different, but similar in ways, too. They help public health and the inventors had basically the same reason to make them, but they are vastly different, too. They were introduced at different times and places and in different ways. But, they both help us.

They were similar because they both help public health. Both inventions allow you to “go” somewhere that's not in the water. If feces gets in water and you drink it, you can become seriously ill. You cannot eat, drink, or touch feces or you will get SICK. With the toilet or the Peepoo bag, you wouldn't need to worry about that as much. Also, the inventors had the same reason to make them: to prevent sickness. Like I said before, poop cannot just lurk around the streets or hang out in your water. People didn't know this back then, but now they do.

There are things about them that make them different. They were introduced at different times and places. The Peepoo was recently introduced in the slums of Asia and Africa, into communities that don't have toilets or plumbing. The toilet was introduced in 1851 in a London exhibit and quickly became a part of modern society. The toilet is also different from the Peepoo because people learned about the toilet in an exhibit, but people are being educated now about the Peepoo bag and are learning about it in road shows and block parties plus advertisements on the radio.

If you were in Africa, you might hear that someone with a new invention is coming to town. You'd probably hear that they had a kind of toilet. Let's go back to 1851 in London. You'd probably hear about a cool new invention from an exhibit called the “toilet”. In either situations, you'd be overwhelmed, shocked, excited, amazed, or suspicious. But I would think it was down-right awesome. Everyone underestimates these inventions, alike and different that they are, but you should be glad we have them.

Imagine your life without toilets. When you need to do your business, your only choice is to urinate or exert feces into a bush, and just hope that no one is watching you. But, this is actually a reality to some people around the world, they have nowhere to, let’s just say “go.” This is where the Peepoo comes in.

The Peepoo and the flush toilet have a lot in common, and one is that they improve public health. Human feces are filled with bacteria and pathogens that cause diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid. Because no one could get rid of poop in the 1800s, they would inhale it. But when the flush toilet contraption was displayed in 1851 at “The Great Exhibition of 1851”, people could finally breathe air without quenching their noses. As said in the article, “open defecation leads to contaminated water” When you do your business in the Peepoo bags, the waste will no longer travel to drinking water.

Dangerous water can be prevented from both the Peepoo and the flush toilet. Flush toilets have plumbing, which sends toilet water and all of it’s contents away from drinking water and the Peepoo is sent back to it’s manufacturer or buried into the ground, certain to be transformed into fertilizer. Both were invented to prevent contaminated drinking water. Sadly, still not everyone has a place to be relieved from a day’s worth of holding in. Their bladders aren’t capable of holding out forever, so they have no choice but to pee out in the open as many animals do.

But, although both of these inventions are helpful to people thriving in poverty AND prevent water from being contaminated, they do have some differences as well. The designs of the two are extremely different. The flush toilet is built so that you do your business in a molded hole, you pull down a lever when you’re finished, and your “human waste can be effortlessly flushed away.” However, with the Peepoo, you let everything out inside of a “single-use, biodegradable toilet”. Urea crystals within the bag transform human excrement into fertilizer that can be used for crops in the future. Not only are they different in the subject of their design and build, but also they both help the environment in different ways. The urea crystals within the Peepoo bag turn this excrement into fertilizer, which is completely safe for the environment. The Peepoo offers an opportunity for people to begin to go green just by going to the bathroom inside of a non-reusable plastic bag. The flush toilet sends your feces into the ground, which could be like extra fertilizer for soil. So, in different ways, both types of toilets help the environment.

The world is in development. Many things are changing, or will change. One that is important to be included is for no one to be toilet-less, no matter the cost. The Peepoo is heading in the positive direction, along with the flush toilet, which has helped us since the beginning, well, almost the beginning…

The disposal of human waster is so important because in Asia and Africa they didn’t have a “flush toilet.” If they had to go to the bathroom they just went. Some were lucky to have a toilet but some were not. Millions of people die from diseases of the causes from human waste. When people don’t have toilets it leads to open defecation and it contaminates the water so then more people die.

Some success and failures were that there were less people dying from human waste. Also that Thomas Crapper of the Flush toilet made the toilet more affordable. It saved the community from getting to be a stink smelly place. Now there aren’t so many dieses going around, thanks to the peepoo and Flush toilet.

The problem of human waste disposal is getting better but still some kids and adults don’t have a peepoo flush toilet, which cannot be safe. The peepoo and the toilet helped so many people from not dying and being more safe and cleaner. But just because people are happy because they have a good place to do their business doesn’t mean that other people are happy too.

Out of the peepoo and the Flush toilet both of them work and are very useful but we can make them better. They have saved millions of people from dieses, which is really good because now there are tons of people who don’t have to be worried that they might catch diseases from human waste.

The pee poo and toilet are both amazing inventions that have a great use. The toilet is an easy and fast way to get your waste out and the pee poo is an great invention for people that cant afford a toilet. the pee poo is also bio degradable so you can throw it away with out poluting the planet. The toilet is a great, fast, easy and comfurtable way to let your waste out. The toilet is very poluting to the sewers and the oceans.

The pee poo is a great way for people to get there waste out with out getting sick. The pee poo is also a great way to get you waste out with out poluting the planet beacause the pee poo is bio degradeble. The toilet is a easy and fast way to get your waste out. The toilet is very poluting which hurts the planet alot.

I hope that I told enough information about the pee poo and the toilet.

Over time the toilet has gone from stay in the ground, to bring it all around! People wonder what it changed to, it went from an ordinary toilet to a bag that you can bring all around with you, it is called the “pee poo.” Let me educate you a little more about these two things.

The flushed toilet was discovered at the great exhibition of 1851. Many people would wait in line just to see the magical new invention. The reason people were so amazed is because at the time no one new about the flushed toilet. Many people at the time were dying cause people would just release their bowels (poop and pee) where ever they would wish, which made many people sick and die. People would also die because the cesspit overflowed that street and went into “clean water.” Then we invented the pipes that would make the water flow away from the cesspit.

The newest toilet invention is the pee poo. While Anders Wilhelmson was taking his class on a trip to Asia and Africa he realized that many people don’t have access to a toilet, thus the pee poo is born. Urea crystals inside the pee poo make human waste a natural fertilizer for crops. To work the pee poo you would produce waste into the pee poo, then put it in the ground, or sell it to whom you bought it from for a third of the price, and it would help the crops grow. The pee poo has saved many lives.

These two inventions have their similarities and their diffrences. The similarities are, they both have saved lives of many people, and both of the products are purchased numerical amount of times. Their diffrences are how they are manufactured, the pee poo is a bag with special crystals, and the toilet is screwed to the ground made of porcelain and is not portable. The last reason they are different are because how they were discovered by people, the pee poo was by women selling it within the communities and the toilet by at an exhibition. They are different, yet the same.

The toilet as we know it is constantly developing to new things, first from were ever, then to a porcelain object that flushes and cannot be moved then now a plastic bag with magic crystals in them! Talk about developing! We have faced our troubles with having human waste everywhere but now we have almost concurred it. The toilet is a developing object, just like the rest of the world.

These two items are really great inventions. They both help out in so many ways. The “flush toilet” and the “pee poo” are very different and very similar in a lot of ways. One, they make the environment a safer place. There also different two, ones an actual toilet and the other is a bag.
***********
These inventions are very similar in so many ways. One way there similar is that they actually make the world a safer place. Instead of throwing your waste on the ground or in the water or anything like that you can just put it in a bag and bury it or flush it. Having it go away will make your environment around you safe to go outside and do things. All though with this there are some differences with these two inventions.
*********
There are big differences between these two items. The “Pee poo” is a bag with urea crystals in it which makes the waste fertilize and which makes it easier to grow crops. The “Flush Toilet” is an actual toilet sort of what we have today because the waste just magically gets flushed away. The “Pee Poo” is much more helpful for the people in Kenya, but for the people in London the “Flush Toilet” is much easier. ***********
In conclusion both of these inventions are an awesome idea. They make the world a better place for the environment and the people. Without these items people would be dying every day from diseases. These inventions are very similar in ways but then again very different but one thing they have in common, is that they save lives every day.

The toilet is the best invention made in 1851. In London, the toilet was made. Great inventions have to have good costs. The toilet was only bought by some people. Other people didn’t have enough money to purchase the toilet. One day, a man by the name of Anders Wilhelmson figured out that problem and there came the Peepoo. The invention went over the world to different destinations. The toilet and the Peepoo were totally.

The two inventions have differences and there similarities. First I will tell you about the differences, first you get to sit on the toilet and the Peepoo you have to go in a bag. The Peepoo could be sent back or be planted in the ground to be a fertilizer that’s used for crops. The toilet sends everything into the sewer system.

Then there’s there similarity’s. Both the toilet and the Peepoo were a very big surprise to the people. The inventions helped both people for the smell not to get into your lungs. There both a big help for the people that needs it.

2.6 billion people do not have access to a toilet. The Peepoo helps some of those 2.6 billion people. The toilet is the greatest invention it is and always will be. It was upgraded so many time its perfect for us today. Some people don’t get the toilet and still have to live with the stench. With the Peepoo you don’t have to and its good fertilizer for your crops.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are two inventions talked about in A Toilet for Developing World and in the Miracle Flush. One invention is commonly known and one is not so well known. But both have a purpose, they get rid of our human waste.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are similar in purpose because they dispose of human waste. Even if they do have a different way of doing it, the benefits are the same. In London, before the 1850’s, dealing with human waste was a disaster. There was poop everywhere and lots of people got sick and died. Kenya, and most of Africa had the same problem as London -- how to dispose of waste. But with both the inventions it was rough in the beginning. The flush toilet overflowed where it was put in and caused even more sickness. For the Peepoo, well, people did not trust it at all. That’s why education was key in selling these new inventions. The flush toilet was promoted at a fair and the Peepoo has been promoted though block parties and road shows. They both seemed to eventually get off the ground and do the job.

One of the biggest differences between these inventions is that the flush toilet goes into a house permanently and the PeePoo is a plastic bag with urea crystals you can carry around. The urea crystals break down poop into fertilizer that can be used for crops. The flush toilet takes the wastes into a sewage system. There is a huge difference in their cost, one being a plastic bag and one being a ceramic pot/bowl. It’s easier to give the Peepoo to people in poorer countries.

The flush toilet and the Peepoo are both great inventions. They have differences and yet they do the same thing. Waste and its disposal has been one of humankind’s toughest problems to solve. With the Peepoo and the Flush Toilet we are coming closer to solving the problem of safe waste disposal and removal.
