What are your top three favorite quotes that your classmates posted? How do they fit your life? What do they mean to you?

  • One paragraph for each quote
  • Copy the quote and then explain...

Here are some more quotes...

Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.  -William Butler Yeats

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.  -Buddha

The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives.  -Robert M. Hutchins

The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.  -Carl Rogers

The only real failure in life is one not learned from.  -Anthony J. D'Angelo

The three quotes I personally like are...
" Live everyday like it was your last."
" Words are not birds, the word will fly out and you will not catch it." By: Tatiana Zakharova
The last quote I like is...
" I'm tough, ambitious and I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a brat, okay."

I think " Live everyday like it was your last," means that instead of sitting down and play video games you should get up and go outside. Go walk your dog outside. Do something because you never know it could be your last day. So get up and do something and enjoy like if it was your last day. I think it fits in my life because over the weekend I just sit down and watch TV. Sometimes my mom would say to me go outside so. I would because it could be my last day so I want to enjoy it because time passes very quickly.

I think " Words are not birds, the word will fly out and you will not catch it," means that if you say something very mean you can't take it back like a bird once you let it go it is gone you can't take it back. I think that is what it means. I think it fits in my life because when I get mad I start saying things that might hurt peoples feelings.

The quote " I'm tough, ambitious, and I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a brat, okay," means that even though people say it is never going to happen. You should never give up and keep going until you achieve your goal. It fits in my life because I want to be a vet and I will do best until I reach my goal and that goes for everyone. For example Martin Luther King J had a dream but he never gave up and one day his dream came true. That is what I think it fits my life.

This means to me that a diamond(better person)is also a pebble (not perfect). this relates to my life because im a good person but im not a perfect person.

Dream as if you'll live forever.
Live as if you'll die tomorrow.
This means to me that ou should never ever let your dreams go.
the relates to my life because i will never let my dream to become a video game desighner go

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says possible. this realaes to my life because i usally say stuff thats impossiable is possiable.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited; imagination encircles the world.” – Albert Einstein
To me this means that as long as you have imagination, you can do anything. This fits into my life because as long as I can imagine something; I will never go wrong.
Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take."
I think that this means you have to take chances to accomplish something. If you don’t you can’t accomplice anything. In my life I follow this a lot because I can’t score in soccer if I don’t shoot the ball I don’t score. It’s all about taking chances in life.
“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” -Mark Twain
If you’re telling the truth you don’t have to have any guilt to think about. I think in my life as long as I am honest, I won’t have anything bad to think about. I can keep going on without having a bad feeling.

I. Hedgehog posted the quote, “Anyone who thinks sitting in a church can make you a Christian must also think sitting in a garage makes you car.” This means that you can’t be something just because you say you are or are, you have to earn it. You can’t be something you’re not. I like this quote because it has a little humor mixed into a strong message. I agree with this concept 100%. I’ve seen people pretend to be something and think that it changes the fact that you’re not.

II. Parrot posted the quote, “I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives. It means that don’t question everything. I liked this quote because at first it just seems like a joke and even if it truly was meant to be one, if you think about it has a hidden message. I also liked Parrot’s other quote, “I know that you believed you understand what you think I said, but I’m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.”

III. Hedgehog also wrote a quote, “For every minute you’re angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” I think it means you’re wasting your time when you’re angry. I like this quote for starters because he wrote it himself and also because it has a great message. If everyone listened to this, the world would be a better place.

“Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die tomorrow.” I think it means dream a lot and live life to the fullest extent possible. It connects to me in a way because I daydream and dream a lot and most of the time I try to live and enjoy life in the fullest ways.
“Nothing is impossible, the word its self says I’m possible.” The quote is dictating that nothing is impossible and that everything and anything can be done. I connect to it because whenever something is hard and or not going well i never say it’s impossible and somehow find my inner strength and complete the task at hand.
“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” Its meaning is that it takes a lot more effort to come up with lies and remember them than it does to just tell the truth. Like when I take my Mom’s sweets. It is harder and more effort to lie to her than to straight out admit that I took the sweets.

These quotes were so good!!

"Be careful because you might wake up one day and realize you lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones."-?
I like this quote because to me it means- do you want quality or quantity? This relates to me because sometimes I want a bunch of little things, but I should look for one, good thing that I need. This is a very smart quote because, do you want several little pieces of candy that you don't really like or one bigger, delicious piece of candy? Thank you, Turtle!

“You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.” -Wayne Gretzky.
I really like that quote because it is so true-when you don't try something, you miss out and you'll end up regretting it. That's one accomplishment you didn't do. This applies to my life because there's always something where I'm not sure if I should do it. Sometimes I say, “Yeah! I should do this!” and I do and end up having a great time. Other times I don't do it and end up regretting it, wishing that I did. Thanks Cheetah!

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney.
I love this quote!! It means, if you have the courage to do something, than you can really do anything. If you set your mind to something, your dreams will come true. This goes with my life because if there is something I want to accomplish, than if I set my mind to it, I can do it. Thank you Beaver!

One of my favorite quotes is "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." It relates to my life because I need to take a lot of risks to get better at things. It means a lot to me because I want to get better at things in life.

Another quote that I like is "I get to play golf for a living. What more can you ask for - getting paid for doing what you love." It relates to my life because I want to have a good career and I want to do something that I like in my career. It means a lot to me because I think that it is important that humans should be able to do something they like for a living.

Finally, another quote that I like is "Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." It relates to my life because I want to make the most of my life, even if it isn't perfect. It means a lot to me because I feel that I should be thankful for the things that I have, even if I don't have everything.

Every strike brings me closer to a home run
Babe Ruth
I think that means that you get mad when you get a strike so you swing harder. When you swing harder and connect you hit a home run. This doesn’t affect any body. But this is really smart if you play baseball. I never thought about that till I read what Babe said.

Gee, its lonesome in the outfield. It's hard to keep awake with nothing to do.

Babe Ruth

I think he is saying that the yanks have such good pitching that the ball doesn’t even leave the outfield. I always read that babe was funny but this is just an insult to everybody that plays MLB baseball.
I it wasn’t for baseball I would either be in penitentiary or in the cemetery.

Babe Ruth

If this makes sense to me because when Babe was growing up was a bad boy and got into either fight dinked or stealing. So when he said he would be in a cemetery he would get drunk or start a fight with the wrong kind of people. The makes me not want to follow Babes childhood steps but when he made it to the MLB steps.

You miss 100% of the shots you never take. - Wayne Gretsky It means that if you dont take a shot your never gonna make one. This relates to my life because when I am playing basket ball and someone has an oppen shot but they dont take it because they are scared they will miss. This saying really motivates me because sometimes I am the one scared to take the shot.
For every minute your angry you lose 60 seconds of happiness - Eathan Landron this means if you are angry you are losing time to be happy. This makes me realize how pointless being angry is. When I am angry I can just think of this syaing and I will be happy.
Anyone that thinks if you sit in a church it makes you christian, also must think if you sit in a garage it makes you a car. This means that if you just go to church you are not a real christian if you want to be a christian you have to actually belive.

HegdeHog said...

‘’Anyone who thinks sitting in a church can make you a Christian, must also think sitting in a garage makes you a car.’’

This quote relates to me because, my mom bugs me and says to me, ‘’you will be a more of a Catholic’’, or she would say, your grandparents would be proud of you, and that really agitates me.

Garrison Keillor-

‘’For every minute your angry, you lose 60 seconds of happiness in your life.’’

When I go to my baseball camp, all of the kids there act like their lives are miserable, because they don’t have a as good bat or mitt as the next kid, or if they are doing bad, and I look at them like I want to slap a smile on their face.

My quote-

‘’Every strike brings me closer to a home run.’’

‘’The saying means, in life, the more times you make one single mistake, you will learn from those mistakes and make the next time you get that same chance, you’ll make it better.’’

Babe Ruth-

I got the saying from Rattlesnake.

"Live every day like it was your last".
I like this quote because it's telling you, if you died tomorrow, what would you want accomplished? This can encourage me to "Do the things you think you cannot do", as if there is no tomorrow.

“I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.”
This quote is one of my favorites for two reasons, it makes me laugh, and it has meaning. When you cross the road, does someone ask you “why did you cross the road”? Not really, so then why should people ask why a chicken crossed the road. The person who made this quote was certainly thinking, if tomorrow will be better, then nobody would ask someone why a chicken crossed the road.

“Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine.”
To me, this quote is summing up a part of life. Everybody has free time every now and then (if not a lot), so they should find time to laugh as much as they can.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited; imagination encircles the world.” – Albert Einstein

I think this means you can get a lot of knowledge but you can have a never ending imagination. This connects to me because I’m usually really realistic and I don’t really have a good imagination. For example, if you’re playing a game where you have to act things out, that's using your imagination. Some kids at recess play fighting games and that’s using your imagination. I only use knowledge, usually never my imagination. Imagination is more important because in your imagination you can do whatever you want but knowledge is just facts.

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” –Emerson

This means you can’t ever do something great unless you believe and think positively about yourself. This relates to me because I’m not always enthusiastic about everything but this shows me that to get something done good I should be enthusiastic about it. It’s like if you are working on a project and you aren't enthusiastic than it won’t be as good as if you are.

“It doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.”

I think this means you can take as much time as you need to do something. This is like math. If you don’t get it then you keep on doing it until you get it. I also think this means is never give up and keep trying.

Beaver said...

Quote 1. "Be careful because you might wake up one day and realize you lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones." This is related to my life because I thought I could get lots of small things but in return I would have to lose a really good thing so I decided not to get all of those things that didn’t matter and instead I got to keep one really good thing. I think this means that you should not lose something that you worked hard to get because you were getting lots of things that aren’t as good or hard to get.
Quote 2. "Live every day like it was your last" this relates to my life because sometimes I am not happy and can’t wait for the day to be over. I think this means don’t live your life poorly. It also means that you should try to have as best of a time that you can everyday.
Quote 3. “It doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.” This relates to my life because sometimes I give up on incredibly tough things because they are too hard but I shouldn’t give up because that is the only true failure. I think this means that you should keep trying even if you are terrible at what you are doing. You should never ever give up on what you are doing though.

"Genius is one percent inspiration, ninety-nine percent perspiration."
- Thomas Edison
When I'm stunting in cheer, the coaches give us a little inspiration with a "you got it girls" or something like that but when it comes down they say "aw, too bad. Let’s try that again!" and then they start counting. To me this quote means that there will always be sweat (or hard work) involved in getting something right and just a little bit of inspiration (or cheering on).

“During a test, people look up for inspiration, down in desperation, and left and right for information.”
-Unknown
This doesn't fit for me because I don't think cheating off other people is right, but I've seen just this. They look up and say something to the Big Guy like if you help me with this algebra question I'll be nice to my little sibling for the rest of the month, they look down at their paper trying to make sense of the problem, or they "yawn" or "stare into space". Some people even do all 3.

Whether it is raging fire or the whip of wind, never let obstacles get in the way of your dream(s).
-Eve
This one fits my life because even if I didn't make the school play or select chorus this year, that doesn't mean I will stop singing or acting. This quote reminds me to never let anything get in my way of anything. Like they say- The show must go on.

Cheetah said that Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." This connects to me because I play basketball and my brother always tells me that I will never score if I don’t shoot. That is also what Cheetah said.

Bunny said “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” –Emerson. You can never win without believing. If you are playing basketball and you don’t believe you will win you will not win.

"Live every day like it was your last." It means that you should never be sad or mad be happy and have fun. You always want to have fun. Because it may just be your last.

Hawk said...

"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
-Confucius

I think this means that if you decide to do a job you love, it will be fun and it will not feel like work. This relates to my life because sometimes when I get a homework sheet that looks like fun, it doesn’t feel like working.

“You must do the things you think you cannot do.”
- Eleanor Roosevelt

I think this means that you must try something new, and you shouldn’t give up on it right away. This relates to my life because if I need to work on a really hard math problem or piano piece, I try it instead of giving up.

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”
- Walt Disney

I think this means that you need to try to make your dreams/goals to come true, no matter what other people think. This relates to my life because I know have to try to reach my goals, like getting better grades in school.

One quote that I liked is by Yogi Berra. "It ain't over 'til it's over." This is something that my coach says when im playing basketball or my parents say when im watching a sports game on tv. What this qoute says to me is don't give up cause it isn't over unti the clock hits zero or the last out is made.

Another quote that I liked is by Eleanor Roosevelt. “You must do the things you think you cannot do.” What this means to me is take risks. Because if you didn't try how do you know you can't do it. Don't just not try it. If you want to do something do it. Don't just not do it cause you don't think you can.

Another quote that I liked is by Walt Disney. "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." What this says to me is that dreams aren't just things in your imagination. You can make them happen. Anything is possible if you try.

RoadRunner said...

Wayne Gretzky once said, "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." This means that you wont even have a chance at making a shot if you don't take it. This relates to me because somtimes in basketball I have an open shot and I don't take it. I think if I take those shots more offen though I will score more points.
A child miseducated is a child lost. - John F. Kennedy 1917- 1963. I think this means that if you don't educate every child, the uneducated are way behind(lost). They will also probobly never bounce back. This makes me think that I must always try my hardest to get a good education.
Mike Krzyzewski once said, “A basketball team is like the five fingers on your hand. If you can get them all together, you have a fist. That’s how I want you to play. I think this means that you should always play together if you want to win. If you don't that fist wont be strong and your team will lose.

Platypus said... "Everything you want is on the other side of fear."
-Jack Canfield
I think this quote means everything you want might not come out the way you want it to. It might come out the total opposite. This quote fits my life because if what I think it means is right it has happened to me probably several times. FOR EXAMPLE... If I wanted a toy and it looked really cool in the commercial and it comes out really bad when I get it. Or If I got a hair brush that has a cool grip and then I get it, it has the grip but it doesn’t do a good job brushing my hair, that would be another example.
Sponge said... "There's gonna be a time when people say you can't do something or live your dreams. And there's gonna be a time when people say you can't sell out Madison Square Garden, but you know what I say? NEVER, SAY, NEVER."
-Justin Drew Bieber
I think quote means many people that you meet in life might not think you could ever achieve your goal, but if you believe and you “NEVER SAY NEVER!” Then you can do what ever you want to be or do. This quote fits my life because it really shows me that you could do what ever you want as long as you believe. It also fits my life because I want make softball a professional league, so this quote tells/shows me that I can do it!
Penguin said... “Nothing is miserable unless you think it is so.”
I think this quote means something that is miserable to other people might not look miserable to you, unless you think it is so. This quote fits my life because it shows me that in someone else's point of view about something might be different then yours. Thanks Platypus, Sponge and Penguin!!!!!!!!

My three favorite quotes are;
"Ability will never catch up with the demand for it." ~ As Komodo Dragon wrote.
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” - Walt Disney ~ As Beaver wrote.
"Everything has beauty, but not everybody sees it" - Confucius ~ As Blue Jay wrote.

I think that these quotes fit into my life because if we demand ability, it will not show up in time. If i make dreams and think that a little fairy will come and grant me my wishes then I am strongly mistaken. Plus, if I will have low self-esteem about the way I look, then I do not see the real beauty of me.
"Ability will never catch up with the demand for it."

This means that if I will need a certain ability right at this moment, it won’t just come to me. I will need to wait and gain the ability over time.
“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

This means that if I have great dreams, then I will need to make them come true. I will need to work and have the courage to get them.
"Everything has beauty, but not everybody sees it"

This means that every one has a beauty or a strength in something. If you see a hobo on the street, then would you think that he was stupid at first sight? He might have been the best car racer in the world, just did not have the money to buy a car.

My classmates and myself have been studying quotes, so we all posted a quote that we found to love or a quote we made up. All of them were great but 3 stood out to me.

Viper posted; "Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." which was made by Confucius. It fits into my life well. It means it is better to have a thing that has a beautiful base with a couple flaws than something that has nothing with no flaw. It helps me be thankful for what I have, and to be lucky for what I don't have.

Beaver posted; "All our dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them." which was made by Walt Disney. It goes into my life. It means to me, every dream can happen and will, as long as you can have/take the courage to make the dream happen. And as long as you can take the time to build the courage to pursue the dream.

Wolf posted; "Live everyday like it was your last" which they didn't mention who said that. I have heard it before and it helps to inspire my life almost everyday. It means to me, take risks. Be brave. And don't hold back, live like its your last chance to live. And that quote inspires me to do so.

Caribou said...

`"Live every day like it was your last" Said Wolf, It makes me think that you should always try to have the best day ever. For instance, you’re having a bad because you did bad on your test and did not do well on your sport either. Well you just got to make the day better by maybe eating your favorite dinner, or watching a good movie. You can always remember this quote when you are sad.
“You must do the things you think you cannot do.” Said Puffer Fish, It means to me that you must never stop trying to accomplish good things. For instance if you are scared to climb up heights and you see this one tall hill that your friends are climbing and you want to get up but you are to scared. Just take a deep breath and climb the tree. That is what that quote means to me.
A child mis-educated is a child lost. Said Beaver, this means to me that if I was taught wrong than I cannot find my way back. For instance if my friends said that a kid was mean so whenever I see him I bully him means I will probably never be able to become friends with him because I’m lost in my own beliefs.

A penny saved is a penny earned. This means to me that if I earn some money, I should put it away and save it instead of spending I right away. This quote fits my life by telling me that I should become a better saver with my money.

One of my favorite quotes was, "Nothing is miserable unless you think it is so."
- Boethius (480 – 525 A.D.).
The reason I like this quote is because, the only reason something can be miserable is if you make it miserable. This quote relates to my life because, when I do things that aren't fun to me, I try to make it fun. Another reason why I like this quote is because some people are miserable all the time, but they are the ones making it miserable.
Another quote that I like is, ‘’for every minute you’re angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.’’
-Ethan Landron
There are a lot of reasons that I like this quote. One of the reasons I like this quote is because happiness is a good thing in life and if you are mad, then you lose happiness for the time that you are mad. This quote relates to my life because sometimes I get mad at people, and then I realized that I am losing some of my happiness.
I also like this quote, “If you believe it your mind can achieve it.”
-Joe Paterno
I like this quote because people always have dreams to become a professional at a sport or dance or music, but if you really believe you can do it then your mind can achieve the goal. This quote relates to me because when I started the golf season last year I was determined to improve from the year before. My mind did eventually achieve that goal!

““You must do the things you think you cannot do,” Eleanor Roosevelt.” I love this quote Puffer fish posted because it means that you should take a chance. Rattlesnake’s quote, “Every strike brings me closer to a home run,” by Babe Ruth means (in my opinion) is that every time you fail, or can’t do something perfectly, it just makes you more anxious to do so. So you keep practicing and trying, and eventually, you bring yourself to victory. I love this quote because it is so motivational.

Parrot posted, ““A penny saved is a penny earned.” –Benjamin Franklin” I think this means that if you take your time and don’t spend everything in one shot, because you can lose everything by doing it that way. If you save your money and spend it wisely, you can succeed.

“Fear comes from within, so why fear anything but yourself?” – JFK (John F. Kennedy)

What this message is expertly conveying is this: you’re the only one who’s stopping your dreams become reality. Fear starts with you; you have nothing to fear but yourself. Why are you scared of anything else? Knowing myself the way I do, with that knowledge comes acceptance that I do occasionally find myself unsure of myself.

"Be careful because you might wake up one day and realize you lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones." – Unknown

Be aware that friends that are like gems and treat you well will slip through your fingers while you are gathering horrible ones (friends). Well, as I grow I’ll have to make many decisions including important ones about friends. Who I become friends with and if I treat them well will be a critical factor.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited; imagination encircles the world.” – Albert Einstein

Imagination is more superior then knowledge. Knowledge only extends so far, but, imagination respects no boundaries and creates our world. I especially chose this quote because of its relations between me and what I like to do during my free time. I do extra-curriculums that are about imagination and it is a big part of my life.

These are three quotes that fit in my life and I will tell you a little bit about them, what thy mean to me.

Quote1.)
“Two people can look at the same thing and see it differently..”
-Justin Bieber That means two people see something. But one person might see some thing so beautiful and the other person sees junk. That relates in my life because the quote is like an opinion. What I mean by that is that, someone can tell you that they like your shirt very much, but on the other hand someone can say that the hate you shirt. Stuff like that happens every day.

Quote2.)
“Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without.” - Confucius (551 B.C.-479 B.C.)
That means that it’s better to try really hard at something and still have some flaws, than to be someone who does not try and is perfect with no flaws. What that means to me is well; think of it like a test. It is better to try really hard and study and still get some stuff wrong then to not study and be perfect.

Quote3.)
"Everything has beauty, but not everybody sees it" Confucius 551-479 BC. That means that everyone has beauty and is very special for that, but not every one can see it. Here is an example, if some one found a old box and it was from lets just say 2000 B.C. someone might say it was ugly but the other person might say that it was the most beautiful thing that they have ever seen.

“You don't know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.” (it didn’t say the philosopher)

I think that means you don’t really know who you are and what you’re capable of until that is your only choice. This relates back to many people’s lives because they don’t step out of the box and show who they really are until that’s all they can do.

“Dream as if you'll live forever.
Live as if you'll die tomorrow.”
(it didn’t say the philosopher)

I think this means have really big dreams that can last forever, but make the most of your life before it ends. This relates to lives because people tend to think big and dream even bigger, but when you can’t do everything, do as much of it as you possibly can.

"I get to play golf for a living. What more can you ask for - getting paid for doing what you love." – Tiger Woods PGA golfer (Still alive)

I think this means he really loves golfing, but loves it even more because rather than having another job and playing golf on the side, he plays golf all of the time and gets paid for it. This relates to other people’s lives because if you really like doing something, getting paid for it makes it even better.

I liked Penguin's quote "“Nothing is miserable unless you think it is so.” It fit's in my life becasue i think that somtimes for example i buy candy from the store and i think that one candy is bad. So that goes back to the quote. To me it means that in the world nothing is bad unless you think you dont like it.

"Beauty is in everyone one, but not everyone can see it." It fits in my lfe becasue people might think that i am ugly but inside i am handsome. It means to me everybody is handsome inside and maybe outside but the are handsome anyway.

"I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." to my life it means. When i am playing soccer i have to pacties to be better at it. The more i try i will get better. put effot to it and you will get it.

"Be careful because you might wake up one day and realize you lost a diamond while you were too busy collecting stones." I didn't say who wrote the quote so I don't know. \
I think it means that you should pay attention to everything, not only what you are doing. People normally do not pay attention to whet they are supposed to be doing. Like texting and driving. People should be driving, but instead they are to busy texting.
"Live every day like it was your last"
That one is very important to our life. Instead of sitting home or doing nothing, you should go and have fun. People do not really have fun as much as they used to. If it as the last day of your life, would you sit at home, or just go have fun?
“If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.” -Mark Twain
People often tell to many lies to remember. If you tell one person your favorite food was pizza, and the other broccoli, when you get all mixed up and do not realize it, it won’t end well.

"You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take."
-Wayne Gretzky
I think this means that if you keep worrying about trying something and worrying about going wrong, just by not doing it you go wrong.
Quote: All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.
- Walt Disney 1901- 1966
I think this means that if you want your dreams to come true, you have to work and actually try to make them come true instead of thinking it doesn't require any work.
Every strike brings me closer to a home run
-Babe Ruth
I think this means that every time he misses or gets something wrong, instead of being a debby-downer, use what you did wrong and try to make yourself better.

1.) “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die tomorrow.” I Think it means dream big and don’t stop dreaming, then live your life like there’s no tomorrow. It fits into my life because; I like to live my life crazy and think that I might not have all the time in the world to do that.

2.) “You must do things you think you cannot do.” I think it means don’t let anything get in your way. Go Bunge jumping and see that you can do it and don’t get scared. It fits into my world because; if I’m scared to do something I try to do it. It also helps boost your confidence for the next challenge in your life.

3.) “It doesn’t matter how slow you go as long as you don’t stop.” I think it means it doesn’t matter if you’re doing terrible at something, at least you had the guts to do it so keep going. I think it relates in my life because; if I’m running in soccer and I’m so tired I slow down. My coach still tells me to go and finish the run.

• "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
-Confucius (551-479 BC)
Cheetah
• "You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take." - Wayne Gretzky (1961- still going)
Parrot
• “If you tell the truth you don’t have to remember anything.”
- Mark Twain 1835-1910

Panda picked a quote that I love because it’s true. To me it means if you get a fun job you will not mind putting a little elbow grease and an extra hour or two in to it. It will not be work at all -- it’ll be fun.

Cheetah chose a quote that was interesting to me because many athletes do not come up with the best quotes. The quote means to me that if you never try you will never succeed.

Parrot picked a Mark Twain quote. To me this means that if you lie you will have to remember the lies, but if you don’t lie you won’t have to keep track of what you lied about.

"There's gonna be a time when people say you can't do something or live your dreams. And there's gonna be a time when people say you can't sell out Madison Square Garden, but you know what I say? NEVER, SAY, NEVER."
- Justin Drew Bieber

Sponge posted this quote and I thought this was a special quote because when I read that quote I felt that some people might not think that you follow your dreams but I know that I have a dream and some people say “ No, no one ever has a dream come true” But I guess they don’t believe like Justin bieber did. Never Say Never.

“Everything has beauty, but not everybody sees it"
Blue jay posted this quote and I think that what the quote is saying is that something’s are really beautiful but people don’t think that. This relates to me because I see jewelry that really is beautiful but my friends don’t see the beauty in it.

"Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I'm possible!"
Artic Hare posted this quote and what it means to me is that when people say, “no it is impossible” I don’t listen to them and I say yes it is possible if you believe. It also makes me think that when people say that u can’t do something I think to myself yes, yes I can.

This quote by Justin Bieber fits my life and really everyone. Because first off I love Justin Bieber that’s why I picks this one. But also this quote happens to every one people say" you can do this or that" but really can you no one shall ever know until you try.
When anger rises, think of the consequences." Confucius (551-479 BC)
I think this means that: When people get angry, they should think of the consequences before they do or say something they will regret. This one fits in my life because we all get angry sometimes and we do the wrong things and we have to fight the consequences but this quote reminds you to think back and say what should I do these are the option which one should am I going to take which path is the right choice.
"Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
-Confucius (551-479 BC)
My final one I choose was “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." is because there is only one job your really going to love so go for it and you’ll have so much fun it will be like your not even working. That’s what everyone wishes for its like a dream came true.
These ar my top three quotes tht i really loved.

1) you miss 100% of the shots you never take -wayne Gretzky

This means that if you never take any shots your never gonna make one. This relates to me because i always take shots in lacrosse but I don't make any but one day i took a shot and i scored.

2) live everyday like it is your last.

I think this means that you need to live life crazy and have fun everyday. This relates to me because I pretty crazy.

3) it doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop.

this means that it doesn't matter how long it takes you to achieve your goal as long as you achieve it.
